The Hampton is a Jeanneau Prestige 36ft luxury motor yacht with fly bridge that is privately moored in Thames Ditton , close to Hampton Court Palace. She is available for luxury private charters for up to Six guests. Our highly trained Skipper & crew will make you feel like a Million Dollars while you cruise along this beautiful section of the River Thames.

The Hampton will gently meander past Hampton Court Palace and then up to the historic town of Kingston Upon Thames , and subject to the time available, she can go through the lock at Teddington then up to Richmond upon Thames.

Choose to relax on The Hampton on her private upper deck while our skipper drives the boat from below, or relax in our inside lower lounge or outside lower deck area. The choice is yours.
Our skipper will take you on a return journey on the River Thames, passing Hampton Court Palace, then up to the historic town of Kingston Upon Thames, while your private waiter will tend to your every need during the journey.

CUSTOM TRIP
If you have something else in mind for your trip then please speak to our captain and we will be more than happy to price it up for you.
Some ideas:
- Day trip to Windsor (this will take about 7 hours due to the locks) arrange to stay in a hotel overnight and we will wait and bring you back the next day.
- Day trip to Richmond, it takes about 2hrs to get there, 2 hrs to get back, we can drop you off while you have lunch or do a bit of shopping and then arrange to bring you back.
- Trips to London are possible but all timings need to be carefully planned around the tides

The Boat
The Hampton was built in 2002 and is a French built Jeanneau Prestige 36 with flybridge:
- Upper flybridge outdoors seating with sun canopy
- Lower deck outdoors seating with sun canopy
- Inside seating with heating if required
- Toilet
- Master bedroom (should a small guest need to sleep)
- Music system to play your own music from a CD or Bluetooth device
- TV
The Crew
Tracey Robinson & Joanne Harbottle have lived in Thames Ditton for over 15 years. Tracey qualified as a skipper over 6 years ago and has spent many hours navigating the River Thames on various boats. Tracey & Jo own Broadoaks Country House in Cumbria and between them have over 40 years of hospitality experience, Jo also owned Jo Clarks wine bar in Guilford for over 20 years.
During lock down Tracey perfected her cocktail making and loves nothing better to shake up a little something when required. She has come up with a selection of Original cocktails for The Hampton that can be served during Capitan’s cocktail hour, click this link to see the full bar tariff.
The Story
Jo & I love living on the Thames and we particularly adore the non tidal section of the Thames. Our love of boating and the hospitality industry inspired our vision to set up The Hampton Partnership. We look forward to making your trip as special as possible.

Cruises begin and end at the riverside lock mooring for East Molesey Lock, opposite the Thames Ditton Motor Yacht Club (see below image).
There are pay-and-display car parking spaces available at Hampton Court Railway station.
If you are coming to Hampton Court by rail, East Mosely Lock is only a 5 minute walk from the station.
Hampton Court is served by half hourly trains from London Waterloo.

FAQs
Cancellation policy?
You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 48 hours in advance of your trip. This is normally close enough to the date to have confidence in the weather forecast. No refunds are given for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice.
Bad weather?
If weather or river conditions for your trip are forecast to be ‘bad’, we will attempt to contact you the day before to discuss whether to proceed with your trip as scheduled or offer you an alternative date. We assess ‘bad’ weather based on the bbc.co.uk forecast for Hampton Court predicting more than a 50% chance of heavy rain during the time-slot for your booking.
If your trip goes ahead, guests may choose to sit inside. No refunds are given for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Safety
The Hampton has passed an independent examination of the safety requirements set out in the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), an initiative owned equally by the Canal & River Trust and the Environment Agency. In the unlikely event of an emergency please follow instructions from your skipper. Buoyancy aids or life-jackets are available to all passengers on request. Children aged 3 years or younger must wear a buoyancy aid at all times and we recommend children aged 4-14 also wear buoyancy aids or life-jackets.

Accessibility?
We regret there is no step-free access to our boat and we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs. Your skipper and crew will be at hand to help passengers step on and off the boat.
Toilets?
The Hampton has a bathroom and toilet facilities on board.

Our usual pick up spot is at East Mosely Lock on the Hampton Court side, see location here.
There is a map and more detail on our ‘Contact’ page. One of our team will phone you 15 minutes before departure to make sure you find the exact location. For special events we can provide pick-up and drop-off at other locations such as waterside hotels or restaurants. Please ask via tracey@the-hampton.co.uk or call 07801 612829.
Car parking?
Please allow plenty of time to drive into Hampton Court. Traffic and car-parking can cause delays at peak times, including sunny weekends. 24-hour pay-and-display parking is available at Hampton Court Railway station.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
We provide food, unlimited soft drinks and alcohol onboard The Hampton. We also have a licence to sell more drinks if needed. For this reason we do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol on board. If you have any special drink requirements then please let us know in advance as we can usually accommodate most requests.
Children?
Well behaved children are welcome aboard subject to them being accompanied by at least one responsible adult. The maximum number of passengers for each trip is 6 people which includes children over the age of 12 months. Children aged 3 years or younger must wear a buoyancy aid at all times and should travel seated on the lap of a responsible adult.
Dogs?
Dry and well-behaved dogs are welcome aboard, at the owner’s risk. Dogs should not be allowed to swim from the boat.
Music?
You are welcome to bring your own CD or use our Bluetooth system to play your own music. Music must only be played at a moderate volume. We have various USB charging points should you need one.
